DPSS Expands Locally and Worldwide

Nearly four years after moving into its San Jose facility, DPSS Lasers Inc. has outgrown it present building and
has announced plans to move into a larger facility. Located in Santa Clara, the new building offers a 6,500
square foot Class 10,000 clean room and space to accommodate the rapidly growing business. The company
is slated to occupy the approximately 20,000 square foot building by November 7th. Only a few miles from
the former facility, the new building is conveniently located near the San Jose airport. President, Alex Laymon
says "While sales continue to rise and manufacturing volumes increase, this move will allow DPSS to grow all
segments of our business without having space limitations. We've been able to take advantage of the current
struggling real estate market in the Silicon Valley to secure a great building at an attractive price." The move is
coordinated with the opening of a subsidiary service center in Shanghai, China to accommodate the dramatic
rise in business in this region over the past several quarters. DPSS is assuring customers that there will be no
